A Rival Appears! - Endymion Meets Serena (Arc V)

Here is the Image to accompany the first Chapter of my Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc V fan-fiction (which will be posted soon)

This is a scene from Chapter 1, where my Original Character, Endymion meets the mysterious girl, Serena. The two become friends, though they are naturally competitive with each other at first. After successfully sneaking out of detention in order to show off their skills, the two decide to face off in a Duel that will not only prove who is the best Academia has to offer, but solidify an unbreakable bond between them.

this scene takes place shortly before the Anime scene where Akaba Reiji is seen meeting Serena. These two are presumably 10-11 years old, and since Serena's Outfit seems quite different from the typical Slifer Uniform we see her wearing later, I decided to give Young Endymion a "Youth" version of an Academia uniform.

i am really proud of how this image turned out, the poses ended up just the way I wanted them, but particularly the Duel Disks! this was my very first attempt at painting them and i think they turned out Fabulous! I'm really happy with it overall. If this scene looks interesting, be sure to keep an eye out for Chapter 1 of my Yu-Gi-Oh! The story will be an AU based on the canon Anime story-line, focusing on the relationship between my OC, Endymion, and Serena.
